We will be hosting another fundraising event with Sjøholmen and Björg Thorhallsdottir. We are luck enough to have Destinasjon Glede host along side us to reach our goal of 100 000kr for 2022.

CHRISTMAS MARKET 2020
ACT Empowered, with support from various partners, has successfully organized two days Christmas market at Sjøholmen Kunst og Kulturhus, Sandvika. We got a total of ca 100 000NOK! This was used to build the roof of the house!
The motive of this event was to sell used goods and use the collected fund for the vision that ACT is founded upon; helping the ten orphans in Jigjiga, the Somalia region of Ethiopia.
NEW EVENT ALERT!
We are delighted to announce that Act Empowered has been invited by the esteemed Oslo Food Festival 2023 to conduct a fundraising event in support of our construction site and the well-being of the children we serve.
In the previous year, our dedicated volunteers successfully raised approximately 7,500NOK through the sale of delicious waffles and cakes. This accomplishment was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Tromaha Consultant, who not only supported the food festival but also became valued partners of Act Empowered.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Tromaha Consultant for their unwavering support and for covering all the costs associated with our participation in the festival, enabling us to maximize the impact of our fundraising efforts. The success of our collaboration has inspired us, and we eagerly look forward to being a part of yet another remarkable food festival in 2023.
