A BIT ABOUT THE TEAM

At ACT  Empowered we are raising funds and promoting initiatives to serve initially ten children who are struggling to have their basic needs met.  We believe in creating a home that will enable vulnerable children to grow up in a safe environment, getting an education to break the cycle of poverty. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in the lives of these children.

The director has a decade of experience within the humanitarian sector and has named the Development Home after Amoow Makerow, to honor her efforts in adopting 11 children from East-Africa and raising them like her own. They have grown up with stability, education and now have families of their own and have requested to run ACT locally in Jigjiga to give back to their community.
